My wife and I came to Wild Birds Unlimited because we were unsure of what we needed for our yard. We have several hummingbirds that fly around the front of our house and several species of birds in our backyard. Erica, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to us and then based on our information, helped us pick the perfect pieces for both our front and back yard! After 5 minutes of setting up our backyard feeder we had a Green jay as our very first customer!! This is the perfect place if you are interested in setting up feeders to watch the beautiful birds in the RGV! We cannot recommend Erica and Wild Birds Unlimited enough.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the native birds of the Rio Grande Valley and took the time to answer all of my questions. They carry high-quality bird seed specifically for our local bird species, which was exactly what I was looking for. The store has so much more than bird feed, too. They have beautiful wind chimes, books, maps, and all kinds of interesting resources about the birds and wildlife in our area. It was fun just browsing and learning something new. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about helping customers. If you enjoy birdwatching or want to attract more native birds to your yard, I highly recommend stopping by. I’ll definitely be back!

Walking into this store was such a delightful surprise. I was immediately struck by the beauty and quality of the merchandise, with a gorgeous selection of bird feeders and fountains. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the owner. Her knowledge and genuine passion for birding and native wildlife was absolutely inspiring! She took the time to answer questions and share recommendations for local birding trails. Her enthusiasm was absolutely contagious and made me even more excited to continue my birding journey! Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just getting started, this is the kind of local gem that leaves you feeling welcomed, informed, and eager to come back!

A store setting offering a welcoming hand to its patrons 100% of the time. Always feeling invited whether it's the owners or their respective staff. Personalized at all levels. A thank u for a national franchise not feeling so corporate. Great job Wild Birds Unlimited McAllen

I purchased a bird bath from here and had a great experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and willing to help. They really go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything that you need. I even signed up for their membership so I will definitely be back. I’m also so excited with my bird bath, it was an easy setup and look so beautiful!
